ABC Warehouse is growing our team at our Main Warehouse in Pontiac, Michigan , and is presently seeking reliable, self-motivated, and service-driven individuals who are looking for a dynamic and rewarding role in a warehouse environment as a Warehouse Receiving Stock Associate (Morning Shift)!

Our Stock Associates serve a critical role in our mission to provide that outstanding level of service by ensuring product (appliances, furniture, mattresses, etc.) is placed where it needs to be and when it needs to be there; whether that is in the warehouse inventory, or brought out to customers who are picking up an order. If you are energetic, organized, and solution-orientated, we would love to have you as part of our team as a full-time Warehouse Stock Associate!

Warehouse Stock Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives and processes incoming merchandise, stock and materials.
• Unloads merchandise from trucks by hand and with power equipment, including high-low/fork trucks
• Verify and organize incoming stock according to established procedures.
• Move and stock merchandise throughout the warehouse using a high-low/order picker.
• Manage, organize, and retrieve stock from designated warehouse locations.
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and organized
• Maintains clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, safety protocols and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Performs any other tasks or projects as assigned by management

Warehouse Stock Associate Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred
• Previous experience operationg a high-low/order picker is required.
• High School Diploma
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance, and to participate in partner-assisted or team lifts for items over 50 lbs.
• Ability to make reasonable decisions with a focus on safety
• Personable, positive and friendly attitude.
• Able to pick products in a timely and efficient manner
• Demonstrated dependability and trustworthiness.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work as a team
• Ability to communicate clearly and relay information properly
• Willing to learn to drive and become forklift certified
