Instructional Assistant

Under the direction of the site administrator, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual and small groups of students in an assigned learning environment; reinforce instruction in academic, artistic, and physical skills; prepare, duplicate, and distribute instructional materials. Please note: The majority of the positions work in Preschool classrooms, 2-3 hrs per day.

Located in east San Diego County. The district is 66.3 square miles in size, and serves elementary students in grades K-8 feeding into the Grossmont Union High School District. The district has approximately 16,600 students, plus approximately 800 preschool students, with 26 schools (6 middle schools, 19 elementary schools and 1 preschool).
