About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to spearhead its global financial strategy, operations, and governance. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including driving strategy across fiat and digital assets, managing banking, reporting, forecasting, and risk, and overseeing compliance, audits, and tax obligations. A key aspect of the role is leading treasury and asset management, which encompasses custody, yield, and liquidity, as well as administering token vesting and unlock schedules. The CFO will also be expected to build financial models, and scenario forecasts, and partner closely with executive leadership to guide the company's growth. This role requires a professional with a minimum of 10 years' in finance leadership, with at least 5 years' experience in crypto, Web3, or DeFi environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of treasury, tokenomics, and financial modeling, and a strong understanding of compliance and audit standards, particularly in the EU and US. The CFO should be entrepreneurial, strategic, and comfortable in fast-moving teams. Experience with crypto foundations or Swiss associations, as well as a background in fund management or DeFi investing, is considered a plus. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates located in Europe or the US East Coast.
