Our client, a rapidly growing, family owned premium design and manufacturing company in the commercial and residential interiors space is hiring for a Sr. Director of Marketing to join their talented team. The company is going through a period of sustained growth and looking to add a marketing leader to their luxury residential line of business.

This person will work closely the executive leadership, and has a growth trajectory towards a CMO role overseeing all of marketing for the right candidate. This person will be the marketing leader for their luxury residential business, setting the strategy and overseeing delivery of marketing campaigns that include brand, demand generation and growth marketing. You will oversee a team of marketers who are already with the company, so you should be a strong leader and able to point to a track record of driving growth within scaling businesses but willing to be hands‑on in the platforms when needed. The company is arguably the best in class within their space, so experience marketing premium products known for their quality is important for this role. The plan is for this person to progress into a role that owns all of marketing, and the leadership will support that process.

Please note, this is an onsite role in Carson, CA five days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Own brand positioning and messaging for both residential brands, so that each brand communicates a distinct value proposition to trade and consumer audiences
• Lead go-to‑market strategy and execution for new product launches, including launch messaging, campaign plans, sales tools, and training assets
• Own demand generation across account‑based marketing to integrators and dealers, email, eCommerce, paid social, and search
• Set performance targets by channel, track results, and adjust investment quickly based on what the numbers show
• Direct creative output across both brands, prioritizing the work and giving clear, actionable feedback against brand standards
• Lead and develop the marketing team, with clear expectations and a high bar for quality and turnaround
• Build programs that support dealer acquisition, retention, and loyalty
• Partner with Sales leadership to improve lead quality, conversion, and channel engagement
• Coordinate launch execution across Product Management, Sales, Operations, and Creative
• Keep messaging, visual identity, digital experience, and customer touchpoints consistent across both brands

Requirements:

• 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years leading highly successful teams
• Hands‑on execution ability, including building campaigns, briefs, and launch materials yourself while leading others
• A background in a premium, design‑led product category such as luxury, lighting, home furnishings, interior design, architectural products, or high‑end consumer goods
• Experience marketing to both trade or B2B audiences and direct‑to‑consumer customers
• A track record of delivering high‑quality creative and campaign work on tight timelinesStrong creative judgment, and the ability to give direct, specific feedback on work
• Commercial focus: you set targets, read performance, and act on results
• Experience in decorative or architectural lighting is a plus
• Familiarity with the architect and designer specification channel or with designer programs is an asset
• Base salary: $180,000 to $225,000
