Financial Analyst

This role is in our fee accounting team which is a part of Managed Services. Our team is responsible for the fee accounting for public housing authorities We play a crucial role in ensuring the clients’ financials are accurate and timely Run required reports using Housing Manager or MRI software Enter budget data into Housing Manager or MRI software Analyze client data to prepare annual budgets for each program type Review client data to determine the need for budget revisions Prepare budget revisions as needed Prepare annual operating subsidy submissions Prepare, review, and submit VMS reports in compliance with HUD requirements and deadlines Complete VMS reconciliations by analyzing program data, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy between internal records and HUD reporting Prepare and submit additional HUD reports and required filings accurately and on time Maintain supporting documentation for budgets, VMS reporting, reconciliations, and HUD submissions for audit and client review Cross-train in other departmental functions as needed Monitor HUD guidance and pronouncements to remain current on client requirements Benefits Remote Work Opportunities Flexible Working Opportunities 401k with Company Matching Health/Dental/Vision Insurance Paid Parental Leave Tuition Reimbursement Volunteer Time Off Breastfeeding Support Private Medical Insurance + Life Assurance Cover Annual Performance Related Bonus Unique Perks Gym Reimbursement PTO + Company Holidays And More (Varies by Location) High School diploma or GED, Associate’s degree a plusProficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook and Microsoft TeamsAbility to work under deadlinesAbility to work independentlyGood organizational skills and the ability to manage prioritiesA high degree of dependability, motivation and flexibilityFinancial and/or accounting principles knowledge / experienceAbility to communicate effectively with accountants and management through oral or written communication #J-18808-Ljbffr
