Are you a visionary social storyteller ready to make an immediate and significant impact? We are seeking a creative powerhouse to join a high-energy Post Production team, where you will transform raw footage into high-impact, platform-native content. This is your chance to shape how a major brand captivates its audience on the most popular social platforms, from TikTok to Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. If you live and breathe short-form, vertical content and excel at grabbing attention in the first 3 seconds, you will be a core contributor, directly influencing viewer retention and social engagement through your quick-pacing and trend-savvy edits.

What You Will Do

• Social-First & Vertical Editing: Lead the charge in editing fast-turnaround, vertical content tailored specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging social platforms, ensuring every piece is optimized for maximum impact.
• Trend-Driven Storytelling: Actively monitor visual trends, audio tracks, meme culture, and platform features, seamlessly integrating them into brand-safe, culturally resonant edits that keep the brand at the cutting edge.
• Retention & Hooks: Strategically structure the first few seconds of every edit using visual hooks, dynamic pacing, screen direction, and expert text placement to maximize viewer retention and stop the scroll.
• Text & Graphic Styling: Create engaging native-style text overlays, dynamic lower thirds, platform-native captions, and basic motion graphics that align with current social design trends, enhancing visual appeal and message delivery.
• Audio & Music Selection: Select and leverage trending sound clips, platform audio, and royalty-free tracks, crafting tight audio mixes with punchy sound design and music cues that elevate the content.
• Fast-Turnaround Execution: Work efficiently under tight timelines without sacrificing creative quality, delivering rapid-fire edits for quick-turn social reactive moments alongside larger planned campaigns.
• Multi-Deliverable Versioning: Build flexible sequence templates to adapt master social concepts across multiple aspect ratios and platform specifications, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborative Iteration: Work closely with social strategists, creative directors, and producers, translating briefs and performance data into fresh creative concepts while adapting to rapid feedback loops.
• Technical Precision & Delivery: Export all deliverables to exact platform technical standards (frame rates, aspect ratios, color spaces, compression settings, and loudness levels) with zero quality loss.
• Project Organization: Maintain clean bin structures, clear project versioning, and rigorous asset management to support seamless collaboration in shared production environments.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of dedicated experience editing short-form social video content in an agency, brand, or studio environment, backed by a portfolio/reel heavily featuring vertical video work (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
• Expert short-form editing skills: Mastery of fast-paced cuts, sound-driven editing, jump cuts, visual hooks, and platform-native pacing.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with strong execution in sequence organization, multicam editing, and multi-format aspect ratio workflows.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition for dynamic text animation, graphic overlays, basic compositing, and rapid audio polish.
• In-depth platform knowledge: Strong understanding of current Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts algorithms, native features, captioning conventions, safe zones, and user behaviors.
• Eye for typography & design: Ability to create clean, high-converting text overlays and native graphic styles that match the visual language of modern social platforms.
• Efficiency under pressure: Proven ability to turn around high-quality edits quickly in response to fast-moving trends or real-time social events.
• Technical media management skills: Deep understanding of video formats, resolution standards, framerates, codecs, and optimal export setups for mobile delivery.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience using AI-assisted tools for automated caption generation, smart masking, and speed remapping workflows.
• Background working directly with social performance metrics and running creative A/B test variations to optimize watch time and click-through rates.
• Experience shooting mobile-first footage or directing content creators on set for vertical capture.
• Familiarity with retail, e-commerce, or commercial marketing brands.
• Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for quick color correction and grading.
