Associate Automation & Scheduling Analyst

Job Summary The Automation & Scheduling Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement of enterprise automation processes. This position is ideal for early‑career IT professionals who are eager to build hands‑on experience in production operations, problem‑solving, and workflow orchestration within a dynamic, 24x7 environment. Working with a collaborative team of IT professionals, this role focuses on monitoring and improving automated workloads, supporting production systems, and developing a strong foundation in enterprise operations. The position offers the opportunity to grow technical skills, gain exposure to critical business systems, and contribute to meaningful operational improvements. This is a hybrid role based in our corporate headquarters in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA), with the expectation to be onsite one to two days per week. Primary Duties Production Operations & Monitoring Monitor automated workflows and batch processes to ensure reliable and timely execution. Investigate job failures, alerts, and performance issues, applying structured troubleshooting techniques. Perform restarts, validate dependencies, and resolve issues to maintain operational stability. Identify risks or inefficiencies and proactively recommend improvements. Analysis & Problem Solving Analyze recurring issues and contribute to root‑cause identification and long‑term solutions. Support the design and refinement of automated workflows to meet business needs. Collaborate with application teams to understand requirements and ensure successful execution of processes. Participate in production support, including periodic on‑call rotations. Documentation, Standards & Governance Develop and maintain accurate documentation for job schedules, dependencies, recovery procedures, and operational runbooks. Enforce naming conventions, scheduling standards, and governance guidelines. Review existing schedules to identify obsolete jobs, reduce complexity, and improve reliability. Contribute to the refinement of scheduling standards and operational processes. Change Management & Production Deployment Prepare for and facilitate the weekly IT Change Review Board (CRB) meeting. Capture and maintain audit‑ready evidence of change approvals in accordance with enterprise change management requirements. Support production deployments across multiple IT applications, coordinating with application and platform teams. Execute deployment activities, including running pipelines, executing scripts, and performing approved manual steps per documented procedures. Monitor post‑deployment results and assist with issue resolution related to production changes. Growth & Development Build a strong foundation in enterprise IT operations and automation concepts. Learn modern approaches to workload orchestration, event‑driven processing, and system integration. Partner with experienced team members for mentorship and knowledge sharing. Expand your technical and analytical skillset while contributing to real business outcomes. Qualifications Understanding of IT operations, batch processing, and production support environments. Exposure to scripting or automation concepts (e.g., shell scripting, basic batch automation). Demonstrated experience following and applying operational standards and procedures. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently during off‑hour shifts. Familiarity with incident management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices. Clear written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation. Education / Experience Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 1-2 years of relevant experience or strong internship/co‑op experience in IT or technology roles. Compensation The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $68,700.00 to $100,000.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus.
