Position Title: Unit Secretary / Ward Clerk Schedules Available: Part Time, 37.5 hours. Approximately 7:30 am – 3:30 pm Monday - Friday Duties/Responsibilities: Assists the nursing department to keep the unit well organized. Answers the phone cordially and assists caller with any needs or concerns. Friendly, outgoing, self-directed, highly organized. Maintains medical records and documentation as required. Schedules appointments and coordinated care for residents Requirements/Qualifications: High school diploma required. Experience in a healthcare setting strongly desired. Experience and familiarity with medical terminology and medical record maintenance required. Must be able to demonstrate excellent computer skills This is a very busy position and the chosen candidate must be able to juggle multiple competing priorities.
