We love our veterans and are especially proud to assist them.CNA/HHAs at FLC perform many duties in our patient's homes such as,Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.Prepare meals and ensure clients receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs.Perform patient observation to monitor changes in health status and report any concerns to healthcare providers.Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment by performing every day light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety and promoting cognitive engagement.RequirementsCurrent Florida CNA license (75-hours) or Home Health Aide CertificateCurrent CPR CertificationDriver 's License and Vehicle InsuranceCurrent TB test with negative results (in the last year) & Health Statement (Within the past 6 months)Ability to pass a Level II background check Education & Awareness | Florida Agency for Health Care Administration7 CEU's Required - (3-Hr Alzheimer's Disease Initiative, 2-Hr Assistance w/Self-Admin of medications, Communication w/Cognitively impaired Clients, Resident Rights, HIV, Infection control, Reporting Elder/Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation
