Ultrasound Technologist

Job Summary Perform ultrasound exams in the radiology department to assist in direct patient care. The new hire must obtain a Reg Vascular Technologist certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 90 days from start. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and procedural support to Interventional Radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures. Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging to facilitate safe and accurate needle placement. Prepare sterile equipment and biopsy trays. Assist with specimen handling. Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care throughout the procedural process. Conduct procedures including renal biopsies, liver biopsies, lymph node biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and other ultrasound-guided aspirations and biopsies as assigned. Shift Full Time – Days (United States of America) Qualifications Less than 1 year of applicable experience. Basic Life Support certification – American Heart Association or Red Cross. RDMS Certification – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Reg Vascular Technologist certification – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
