Endoscopy Center Schedule (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM):

Inpatient / Call / Rounding Coverage Blocks:

August :00 PM - September :00 PM
November :00 PM - November :00 AM
December :00 PM - December :00 AM
December :00 AM - December :00 PM

Clinical ResponsibilitiesProvide general gastroenterology coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settingsManage inpatient rounding and consultsProvide outpatient endoscopy procedures and inpatient proceduresAverage inpatient census: 10-12 patientsNew consults: 2-4 per dayOutpatient procedures: 6 per dayOccasional add-on procedures: 0-1 per dayMust be able to function independently in hospital settingDocument all care in EMR

Call CoverageCall coverage included during inpatient rotation blocksProcedural + inpatient call responsibility required

Practice SettingCombination of Ambulatory Surgery Center and Hospital-based practice130-bed hospitalNo APP support in hospital settingAdult patient population (18+)General GI practice (no ERCP/EUS specified)EMR: Epic

RequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterology - RequiredActive Pennsylvania license or IMLC - Required / AcceptedDEA - RequiredMust be able to work independently in hospital settingMinimum experience: Independent practice capability requiredCredentialing timeframe: Temporary privileges available with clean file
