Senior Technical & Operational Accounting Manager

We are working with a growing Austin-area company that is looking to add a Hybrid Senior Accountant to its team. This is a highly visible role that offers a blend of accounting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with significant exposure to operations, process improvement, and financial reporting.What You'll Do:Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.Support accounting for inventory, operational transactions, and cost-related activities.Analyze financial and operational variances, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to management.Partner with operations and finance teams to improve reporting accuracy and strengthen internal controls.Assist with the development and enhancement of accounting processes and reporting frameworks.Support audit activities by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.Contribute to ERP implementations, system improvements, and process automation initiatives.Help build scalable accounting processes to support a growing organization.
