How You'll Contribute Receives patients, explains the method of procedure, and makes sure the patient is comfortable. Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities. Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Mants equipment and supplies and organizes work area. Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound, and keeps patient flow smooth. Observes Radiation Safety Guidelines. Professional Development: Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What We're Looking For Education: Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology required. Experience: One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred. License: Certifications: Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification; BLS required within 30 days of hire.
