Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician
Riverside Management and Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician for a private luxury age qualified residential community located in Lincoln, CA. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced collaborative work environment. Essential Duties include (but are not limited to):
- In collaboration with the Facilities Manager provide daily direction to maintenance and porter staff; assign, prioritize, and follow up on work.
- Train and coach employees on maintenance procedures, service standards, equipment use, and safety.
- Monitor work quality, productivity, and completion of assigned tasks; promptly elevate performance or staffing concerns to the Facilities Manager.
- Serve as the operational point of contact during the Facilities Manager's absence within delegated authority.
- Coordinate work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, inspections, and accurate documentation.
- Communicate urgent repairs, hazards, service interruptions, and outstanding projects promptly to management.
- Work alongside staff on routine maintenance, porter duties, room setups, and operational support as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess these qualifications:
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, maintenance/porter services, or other closely related work.
- Experience leading, training, or coordinating maintenance personnel.
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance, mechanical systems, basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to prioritize service requests, communicate professionally, and document work accurately.
- Experience using computerized work order systems and basic Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience in a resort, hospitality, HOA work setting.
- Experience coordinating vendors, staff schedules, pool operations, and preventative maintenance.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 per hour with generous employee benefits.
