Outpatient Focused General Cardiology Opportunity with Strong Referral Base

Non-Interventional Cardiologist BJC Medical Group – Christian Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri Role Overview The physician will provide professional medical services within the specialty of non-interventional cardiology, delivering direct patient care, managing a patient panel, and collaborating with advanced practice providers and the care team. Responsibilities Manage the medical care of the patient panel by providing or arranging inpatient hospital care, including regular hospital rounds or coverage by qualified physicians. Collaborate with patients, families, and the care team to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at designated clinic locations and any BJC outreach sites. Perform and document medical histories and physicals in the patient’s medical record in accordance with hospital by-laws. Arrange and provide call coverage for clinic and inpatient patients, following BJC policies, procedures, and medical staff by-laws. Collaborate with and teach advanced practice providers, support staff, and other care team members assigned to the patient panel. Perform other related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations, in‑basket management, patient education, and collaboration with the care team. Maintain alertness and safe practice as required for a safety-sensitive position.
