Job Summary Job Summary: The Patient Food Services Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the patient services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and administrative support. This role involves supervising staff, resolving patient concerns, coordinating with clinical teams, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the patient services team. Ensure smooth patient admissions, discharges, and transfers. Monitor patient satisfaction and implement service improvements. Staff Management Hire, train, and evaluate patient services staff. Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing coaching. Develop staff schedules and manage coverage for all shifts. Patient Relations Address and resolve patient complaints and concerns promptly. Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and hospital departments. Promote a patient-centered culture focused on empathy and responsiveness. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure adherence to hospital policies and healthcare regulations. Maintain accurate records and generate reports on patient services. Participate in audits and implement corrective actions as needed. Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to coordinate care. Support strategic initiatives to enhance patient experience. Participate in cross-functional committees and improvement projects. Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient care standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
