Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple client accounts with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: Manage bookkeeping and accounting for multiple business clients. Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliations. Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts. Prepare and review financial statements, including: Balance Sheets Income Statements Cash Flow Statements Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures. Maintain accurate Chart of Accounts and classify transactions appropriately. Analyze financial records and identify discrepancies. Assist clients with accounting questions and financial reporting. Work with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and Sage Intacct. Support tax preparation by maintaining accurate accounting records. Collaborate with partners and staff to meet client deadlines. Strong knowledge of: General Ledger Chart of Accounts Journal Entries Debits and Credits Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations Financial Statements Month-End Close Ability to independently manage multiple client accounts. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and client service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Preferred Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, Sage Intacct, or similar accounting software. Experience working in a CPA or public accounting firm. Tax preparation experience is a plus but not required.
