.NET Developer

Job Summary:

A Mid-Level Microsoft .NET Developer with mainframe experience responsible for supporting and modernizing mission-critical enterprise applications. The role involves working in a hybrid environment that integrates legacy mainframe systems with modern Microsoft technologies to ensure seamless operation and enhancement of business processes. Responsibilities:

• Analyze and decode legacy Easytrieve applications on IBM mainframe systems.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy application enhancements.
• Support batch processing and enterprise integration workflows.
• Build ETL solutions using SSIS and reporting solutions using SSRS.
• Develop .NET applications and write or optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Provide production support and resolve system issues promptly.
• Support legacy system modernization and collaborate across teams.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and assist with testing efforts.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-7 years of software development experience, including 3+ years with IBM Mainframe.
• Proficiency with Mainframe technologies: JCL, CICS, ROSCOE/TSO, Easytrieve.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies: .NET Framework/Core, C#, Entity Framework.
• Strong SQL Server skills including T-SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with CMS 835/837 healthcare claim standards.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with ANSI ASC X12 HIPAA (837/835) transaction standards.
• Knowledge of Alabama Medicaid data specifications.
• Experience with mainframe-to-API integration and Azure cloud services.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Background in healthcare, government, or insurance industries.

Special Considerations:

• Position requires 100% onsite presence in Montgomery, AL.

Scheduling:

• Full-time contract role for 11 months.
• 40 hours per week.
