Associate Scientist, Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Translational Imaging

Postdoctoral research fellow position in translational imaging at a pharmaceutical research laboratory. The role focuses on developing and applying advanced MRI and MRS methodologies to study skeletal muscle physiology and metabolism in metabolic disease models.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced MRI/MRS methodologies for preclinical imaging research
- Design, optimize, and validate imaging acquisition and analysis workflows
- Contribute to MRI pulse sequence development and programming efforts
- Analyze complex imaging datasets using quantitative and computational approaches
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present findings at conferences and journals
Requirements
- PhD in Physics, Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or related quantitative discipline
- Strong foundation in MRI physics and magnetic resonance theory
- Experience with MRI pulse sequence development and programming
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar programming languages
- Experience with quantitative image analysis and scientific computing
- Demonstrated scientific productivity through publications and presentations
Compensation: $82,000-$92,000
