Spa Massage Therapist - Part Time

Summary:
Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa is searching for a Massage Therapist to join our team. Overlooking world-famous Waikīkī Beach,Na Ho'ola Spa is an oasis of tranquility that perpetuates health and wellness through the practice of Hawaiian culture, values and arts.

For centuries in Hawai'i, the highest chiefs declared Waikīkī a royal reserve. Natural land boundaries were formed by a number of streams that flowed to the ocean. One of the most revered land divisions was called Hamohamo, the royal retreat for the chief 'Aikanaka and his descendants, King Kalākaua, Queen Lili'uokalani, Princess Likelike and Princess Ka'iulani. It was believed that the waters spouting out of the ground here held healing powers. Thus, Hamohamo was reserved for and greatly respected by Hawaiian Royalty. Today this land, once named Hamohamo, is home to Nā Ho'ōla Spa.

Traditionally, ancient Hawaiians gave a name based upon their dreams or interpretations. Nā Ho'ōla, meaning "many healers," was given to our spa by revered kūpuna (elder) and kumu (teacher) Aunty Malia Craver. Her vision ofNā Ho'ōla takes our guests on a journey to a land rich in history, culture and healing.

A Massage Therapist is responsible for delivery of expectional massage and body treatments. Must be knowledgeable of Lomi Lomi massage.

Pay range for the position: $16.00 - $17.00

Qualifications:

Must be knowledgeable of Lomi Lomi massage.
Must have good communication skills and exceptional customer service skills.
Able to work on weekends
Must also have appropriate certifications- licensed to practice in the State of Hawaii. Preference given to dual massage and esthetic certifications.
