Assistant Project ManagerBalfour Beatty is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a renovation and expansion of two historic buildings in Washington DC to manage the low voltage scopes of work, primarily Security and Audio Visual of the full interior buildout of both buildings. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of this construction project. In this position, the incumbent directs and supervises activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements associated with the low voltage scopes of work to ensure the project is completed with quality, profitable, adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm culture.Essential FunctionsProject Financial AnalysisProject SchedulingProject Administration, Operations, and Close-outPromote Customer and Community RelationsFoster Positive Culture, Leadership and Employee DevelopmentMinimum RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Ten or more years of commercial construction experienceFive or more years of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management.Experience with project manager software (Procore, P6, Bluebeam, etc.)Experience with Change order administration.Must be capable of reading, writing, and conversing fluently in the English languageProject Management ExperiencePreferred RequirementsExperience with BIM tools and lean construction practices.Federal Experience helpful but not requiredOSHA 30Capable of conversing fluently in the Spanish languageProject Management Experience with a focus on low voltage work.Pay Rate: $95,000-115,000**This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
