Distribution Center Associate II (Residential DC)

Location: Depew, NY

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

• Position Type: Contract (Temp-to-Hire)
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $19.50 $21.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.

• Receive goods, verify items against the record of shipment, and inspect condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation.

• Forklift certification (standup forklift)
• Electric RC (rider counterbalance) forklift operation
• Warehouse experience and knowledge

• Scan gun knowledge
• Computer skills

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred

• At least 1 year of related warehouse/distribution experience required
