Civil Engineer – Land Development
We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 2–10 years of land development experience to support the planning, design, and permitting of commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare site layout plans, grading plans, utility plans, and erosion and sediment control plans.
- Perform stormwater management, drainage, and site development design.
- Prepare construction documents, technical reports, and permit applications.
- Coordinate with architects, surveyors, engineers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Review zoning requirements, land development regulations, and applicable design standards.
- Assist with permitting, agency submissions, and responses to review comments.
- Support construction administration, site visits, and resolution of field issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2–10 years of civil engineering experience with a strong emphasis on land development.
- EIT certification or PE license preferred.
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and site design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- Familiarity with local land development ordinances and permitting processes.
- Strong technical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
