Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Summary
This position is located in the Texas Medical Center. Job Duties
- Provides support to patients via telephone and MyChart with clinical questions and concerns.
- Manages prescription refills and prior authorization requests.
- Assists patients with medication and dosing of antithrombotic medications.
- Documents encounters in the patient medical record.
- Enters orders as appropriate on behalf of physicians.
- Communicates with external providers regarding orders and care of patients.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Two years of relevant experience as a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
- Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Texas Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
