About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Step-down or ICU experience Description: Extension for current staff member. Orientation is bi-weekly. ASAP start is desired. Facility features 154 beds. Service lines include orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, emergency department, and behavioral health. There are 11 multi-specialty physician clinics. Facility is accredited by the Joint Commission. Located near a national park. Close proximity to popular tourist destinations. The unit consists of 22 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. Telemetry equipment is utilized. The electronic health record system is in place. Supervisor is assigned to the unit. Patient population includes adult patients undergoing cardiac observation, post-cardiac catheterization lab care, and cardioversions. The ideal candidate is team-oriented with strong communication skills and flexibility. Required education is an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher. Scrub color is navy with restrictions on offensive tattoos and non-facility tops.
