As a locum tenens physician, you'll perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite and manage patient consultations, with a schedule that offers structured clinic and hospital responsibilities. This position involves a mix of procedure days and patient visits, including night call duties, ensuring comprehensive care delivery.

• Setting: Inpatient
• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, Procedures: Monday, Wednesday, 1/2 Thursday, Friday; Office Visits: Tuesday, 1/2 Thursday; Night calls and hospital rounds
• Patient Population: Adult
• Location: Richlands, VA
• Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

• Weekly direct deposit
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
• Supportive credentialing assistance

• Perform upper and lower GI procedures, including endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy
• Conduct biopsies, polyp excisions, and manage gastrointestinal bleeding
• Consult and examine patients in both clinical and hospital settings
• Participate in night call and manage patient consults

• Board Certification Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Proficient in required endoscopic procedures and techniques
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient care settings

• Procedures: Monday, Wednesday, 1/2 Thursday, Friday
• Office Visits: Tuesday, 1/2 Thursday
• Night call coverage and hospital rounds daily

• Proficiency in GI endoscopic procedures
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in gastroenterology
• Excellent communication and patient management capabilities
