Senior Banking Advisor

Major Duties Develop new relationships, identify prospects, and develop the marketing strategy for specific clients. Manage complex wealth‑management banking credit and treasury‑management client relationships and identify opportunities external to banking in the areas of investment and fiduciary services. Structure and negotiate complex loan and/or lease agreements according to guidelines established by senior bank and business‑unit management. Analyze and negotiate terms of loans—such as special pricing conditions, interest rates, swaps, etc.—according to guidelines set by the Credit Policy Committee, and oversee the preparation of necessary documentation. Advise and consult with clients on Goals Driven Wealth Management. Generate leads through established relationships with COIs and cultivate an expanded network of additional COIs. Provide comprehensive, in‑depth consulting and leadership to teams and partners at a high technical level. Carry out large‑scope, cross‑functional, and technically difficult activities. Balance high‑level operational execution with the development and execution of strategic direction for business‑function activities. Interact directly with different committees and/or management. Develop, implement, and administer programs within functional areas. Lead others to solve complex problems. Knowledge Advanced knowledge of the banking industry, competition, and financing—usually acquired through formal education and experience. Knowledge of investments, trust, and financial‑consulting concepts necessary to identify cross‑selling opportunities. Negotiation, leadership, and sales skills to develop client/prospect relationships and a partner network. Excellent oral and written communication skills. High flexibility and adaptability to change. Interpretation of internal/external business challenges and recommendation of best practices to improve products, processes, or services. Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate to adopt new viewpoints. Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in the relevant job discipline or field. Experience At least 5 years in financial analysis and client servicing, or commercial lending or leasing experience. Experience leading functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, or complexity.
