Riverside Walter Reed Hospital is seeking a day Anesthesiologist to join their team in historic Gloucester, VA. This role offers an excellent work-life balance with a 2-week on, 1-week off schedule and no call. The facility is a 67-bed short-term acute care hospital, part of the Riverside Health System, providing comprehensive care with access to advanced services. Practice Info * Riverside Walter Reed Hospital is a 67-bed short-term acute care facility. * The hospital is home to a 24-hour emergency service and a 12,000-square-foot intensive care unit. * Direct access to Riverside Regional Medical Center's Level II trauma center, a nationally recognized Heart Center, and an 18-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. * Case assignments include endo, ortho, ophthalmology, general, urology, vascular, GYN, and ENT. Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures * Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent * Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients * Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia * Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed * Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Compensation * Salary: $450,000 * Sign-on Incentives: $100,000 Benefits * Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance * Generous paid time off * Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts * 401(k) & Profit Sharing * Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage * Loan repayment & training assistance available Shift & Schedule * 2 weeks on and 1 week off - Days only/no call Requirements * MD or DO from an accredited institution * Completion of Anesthesiology Residency * BE or BC * Current medical licensure * ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
