NURSE PRACTITIONER - ER

DEPARTMENT: EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT #7010 POSITION SUMMARY: Provides primary healthcare in collaboration with physicians, and under the general supervision of the Outpatient Center and/or Emergency Department medical directors. Manages selected cases according to established protocols. Prepares case histories, medical reports and other records. Prepares treatment plans. Orders x-rays and other diagnostic procedures. Writes prescriptions according to protocols. Refers acute and chronic care patients. Conducts health assessments utilizing diagnostic tools and laboratory tests. Provides patient education counseling. Performs other duties as requested by physicians or clinic director Graduate of an accredited school of nursing California Nurse Practitioner Furnisher Number DEA Registration (Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of Diversion Control) Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner training program Two years of emergency medicine experience preferred: urgent care experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Position Pay Range: $75.00 - $95.00 per hour In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
