Manufacturing Manager

Position Summary The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for managing all daily operations of the processing side of the site, including Oil Production and Flower Production. The role oversees safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance of production employees and equipment across multiple shifts. The manager implements and maintains internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all state and local regulations. Key Responsibilities Accountable for all manufacturing operations including safety, quality, production efficiency, on‑time delivery, customer service, and financial performance. Collaborate with National Manufacturing leadership, state director, and local supply chain to plan and coordinate production and implement corporate goals and policies. Represent the organization’s commitment to safety, compliance, quality, delivery, leadership development, process performance, and audits. Coordinate with Product Commercialization, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Marketing to support new product implementation. Facilitate the implementation and execution of quality, safety, and compliance initiatives. Visiting the plant floor to support supervisors, resolve production delays, and oversee production-related issues. Assist in the development of state‑level manufacturing budgets and financial reporting. Champion short‑term projects and continuous improvement processes to achieve operational excellence. Lead by example and maintain a hands‑on presence within the operation. Collaborate with Human Resources to build an engaged, team‑oriented workforce. Engage in ongoing education and professional development opportunities. Report on departmental progress and performance toward KPIs. Develop, revise, or edit SOPs as necessary. Perform additional duties as assigned by manufacturing leadership. Qualifications Production management experience in the food/beverage or pharmaceutical industry preferred. 4+ years of experience with direct reports. 2+ years as a production manager title or 6+ years as a high‑level production supervisor. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and advanced Excel skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills capable of influencing at all levels. Detail oriented with a focus on process optimization. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑stress environment and adapt as needed. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to accept and provide constructive feedback. Self‑motivated to achieve goals efficiently. Additional Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 21 years of age (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV). Valid driver’s license. Successful completion of comprehensive background screening. Physical Requirements Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Capability to sit, squat, stand, kneel, bend, or walk throughout the workday, and to work in front of a computer for extended periods. Exposure to fertilizer, dust, odors, high heat, low temperature, high/low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, and other volatile organic compounds.
