Senior Project Manager - Construction

Senior Project ManagerMortenson is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager I and II that will provide overall leadership direction to one large project or multiple projects to include the management of project quality, timeliness, safety, as well as mentoring the project team. You will develop and improve customer relationships by providing excellent service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success.This position offers opportunities at both levels 1 and 2, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. Compensation for this role is determined based on factors such as experience and location.ResponsibilitiesSupervise overall financial health of projects while developing and maintaining project financial and equipment projectionsAllocate project estimates into the financial system, determine cost codes, approve invoicesProvide financials and billings to Accounting, create monthly owner billingsHandle subcontracts and suppliers, manage budget and selectionsLead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, provide job assignments and training, manage career developmentFunction as main point of contact with owner and on-site representative and resolve site concerns, handle change orders, and obtain necessary customer/architect approvalsMaintain schedule and budget, manage quality, risk, safety, and complianceDetermine cost codes, approve invoices, manage budget decisionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experienceCurrent driver's licenseBasic understanding of construction law and business practicesSenior Project Manager IMinimum Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of construction management or related experienceThe base pay range for this role is $144,300 Min - $216,500 MaxSenior Project Manager IIMinimum Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of construction management or related experienceThe base pay range for this role is $158,900 Min - $238,400 MaxActual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
