That is the standard this role is measured against, and the Manager – Operations owns it on the ground. The Role You own the day-to-day execution of the entire operation. Warehouse and yard, fleet readiness, equipment deployment, crew scheduling, and Associate performance all run through you. You coordinate labor, equipment, vehicles, and resources across multiple projects at once and keep every one of them moving. When priorities change at the last minute, and in this business they will, you are the one who re-sequences the day without dropping a commitment. When an associate is coming up short, you coach, document, and hold the line. When the schedule is tight, you find the path without cutting the corner. This is a leadership role, not a lead-hand seat or just a title. You will still need the operational instincts and mechanical aptitude to step onto the floor and into the yard and show people how it\'s done. Most of your day is spent making other people better, removing barriers to success and keeping equipment and crews moving. What You'll Own Daily execution across warehouse, yard, fleet, and field support teams, staffed and sequenced to hit every project on the board. On-time deployment. Equipment leaves staged, complete, and ready to work, and it comes back the same way. No client waits on us. If say we will be there at 0600, we are there at 0500. Fleet and equipment readiness. Trucks, trailers, and gear stay maintained, organized, and operationally ready, with nothing rolling that shouldn\'t. A team that respects you because you\'re consistent, fair, and credible in the yard, not because of your title. Training and bench strength, so there\'s a backup, and a backup to the backup, for every critical role in the operation. SOPs for every operational process, written so a new associate can do the job without asking anyone. The Operations Performance Dashboard and the KPIs behind it: on-time delivery and pickup, equipment readiness and uptime, order accuracy, damage and loss rate, labor utilization, and safety incidents. Equipment care and facility standards that hold whether or not anyone is watching. Removing obstacles for the department leaders you partner with, because their success is what lets your operation perform. What We\'re Looking For 5+ years leading operational teams in special events, equipment rental, construction, logistics, transportation, warehouse, utilities, or a similar fast-moving field operation. Proven experience supervising a team and actually holding people accountable, not just being the most senior person in the room. Real command of logistics: coordinating people, equipment, vehicles, and schedules across several projects without losing a detail. A track record of leading, mentoring, and developing people who got better because they worked for you. Organizational rigor. You run to a schedule, a budget, and a KPI, and you catch variance early. Calm and decisive under pressure. The operation reads your temperature, so it had better be steady. Mechanical aptitude and comfort with dispatch, inventory, and scheduling software, plus Microsoft Office. Valid driver\'s license and clean MVR, insurable as a company driver. CDL or CDL experience is a plus. Candidates from equipment rental, event production and logistics, construction operations, fleet and distribution, or any fast-paced field operation with real supervisory experience are encouraged to apply.
