Material Handler

Our client, an industry leader in food production, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting operations that ensure the efficient and safe processing of products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Crossville, TN

Pay Range: 17/hr 

Shift: 1st shift 

What's the Job?

• Lift and transport totes weighing up to 50lbs to support production activities
• Operate machinery that fills totes with liquid smoke, ensuring proper setup and monitoring
• Use forklifts to move completed totes to the shipping area safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a hazard-free work environment
• Perform routine inspections for defects or malfunctions that could impact product quality

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs comfortably and operate forklifts (training provided if needed)
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to safety protocols
• Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
