Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings to evaluate the mental health needs of students, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews to inform treatment planning. \n
- Deliver evidence-based short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention services tailored to students facing various emotional and psychological challenges, such as stress, anxiety, and life transitions. \n
- Facilitate therapy groups and workshops that focus on topics vital to student well-being, such as resilience building, stress management, and interpersonal skills. \n
- Collaborate effectively with academic advisors, residential life staff, and student organizations to develop a comprehensive support network for students. \n
- Engage in proactive outreach initiatives and mental health awareness campaigns to promote overall wellness within the school community. \n
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and high-quality documentation practices. \n
In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse group of college students, each presenting unique mental health concerns and personal challenges. Our population includes students from diverse backgrounds, dealing with typical college-related stressors, mental health disorders, and interpersonal issues. Your insights and interventions will not only provide individual support but also foster a greater campus culture of understanding and resilience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Possession of a current and active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required. \n
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health issues and developmental challenges faced specifically by college students. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. \n
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suited for a university counseling center environment. \n
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced setting, effectively managing a diverse caseload. \n

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a university or school counseling environment, is highly desirable. \n
- Experience in crisis intervention and group therapy facilitation is a plus. \n

- Attractive salary package ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and professional qualifications. \n
