Job Duties
Serves as work leader for a crew of subject matter experts, journeyman, and trainee mechanics engaged in the repair, modification, calibration and certification of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
Troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls, modifies, tests, calibrates, and certifies a variety of standard and nonstandard complex electronic and/or physical/dimensional TMDE.
Maintains records and documents actions.
Provides advice and technical assistance to supported organizations.
Demonstrates proper work methods to other workers.
Communicates and demonstrates to other workers safety practices and procedures, established safety rules and regulations, and promotes a safe and clean work environment.
