FINANCE OPERATIONS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the CFO, with a dotted-line relationship to the Controller, the Finance Operations Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA) oversees grants management, payroll, and day-to-day financial operations, while playing a key role in supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

BBBSMA is seeking a strategic, mission-driven leader to join its headquarters team in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage grant accounting end-to-end including compliance and reporting
• Own payroll processing and related accounting entries
• Oversee operational finance activities including services and expense tracking
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes in partnership with CFO
• Work with Controller on grant accounting and financial reporting alignment
• Assist in cash flow tracking and reporting
• Ensure documentation and compliance for all grant-related activities
• Partner with program and development teams on financial matters

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 4-6 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred
• Experience with SAP Concur (or similar systems) preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Routine office environment. This position is located in our Atlanta office, with a flexible, hybrid work schedule.
• Standard BBBSMA office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 - 5:30 pm.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• This position is a primarily sedentary position and frequently requires the use of standard office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax, and printer).
• May occasionally require bending, reaching, and lifting up to 10 lbs.

• Base salary is Compensation: BBBSMA offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation package, commensurate with experience.
