Job Responsibilities

• Delivering quality nursing assistant care to residents in post-acute care settings
• Holding yourself accountable to established resident care plans
• Monitoring vital signs, including blood pressure, and documenting findings as required
• Providing emotional support and meaningful companionship to residents
• Assisting with the transfer and repositioning of residents in beds and wheelchairs
• Communicating with and between medical staff, residents, and visitors as needed
• Helping residents with ADLs, including personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
• Keeping a watchful eye on resident conditions during each shift and escalating any concerns to the nursing team
• Ensuring a clean and hygienic environment by sanitizing surfaces, freshening linens, and tidying residents' rooms
• Assisting with meal service and providing feeding support to residents as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Current CNA certification
• Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff and residents
• Familiarity with medical terms and basic nursing care practices
• High level of attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
