Experienced Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis EngineerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Experienced Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer to join the Air Vehicle Engineering team located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.A successful member of this team will understand and execute modifications and upgrades for the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) programs. The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Fuels system of the B-52, providing expertise in design and sustainment.Position Responsibilities:Lead the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environmentLead the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customersPerform detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installationsPrepare technical documents for mechanical components and systemsPrepare proposal and new business development effortsWork with test program management for work estimation and intake processDelegate tasks to design team and provide supervision to junior engineers.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) 5+ years of experience in mechanical system designPractical experience and knowledge of Fuels, Hydraulic Systems, or ECS.
