SHIFT LEADER - TEXAS GRINDERS

Shift Leader
The Shift Leader is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the Store Manager in a variety of store operations duties. This position serves as a role model of barista responsibilities and serves as the team leader when the Store Manager is unavailable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooters Amazing customer service experience
- Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush
- Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner
- Lead team members to stay on task with store chores and other tasks
- Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures
- Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability
