What You'll Do
- Provide emergency, intensive care, and therapeutic respiratory treatments to patients with pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders
- Monitor and operate respiratory care equipment, ensuring optimal patient safety and comfort
- Perform diagnostic testing and invasive/non-invasive patient monitoring
- Educate patients about pulmonary care and treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
What You Need
- Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist License (or eligible to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory care experience in a clinical setting
- Current BLS certification
- Strong assessment and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Previous experience with invasive and non-invasive monitoring
- Experience working in emergency or intensive care units
