Home Health Care Aide

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while fostering a positive and respectful environment. Pay: $17 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: part time Benefits Flexible schedule 401K Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Monitor and document patient observations, including changes in condition or behavior. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals. Support clients with mobility assistance, including transferring from bed to wheelchair or assisting with walking. Implement care plans as established by healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to medical guidelines. Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Provide hospice care support when necessary, ensuring comfort during end-of-life care. Skills Experience in senior care or home health settings is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and record systems is advantageous. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in client health status. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and understanding. Knowledge of long-term care practices and hospice care principles is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Cooking skills to prepare healthy meals that meet client preferences and dietary restrictions.
