East End Elementary AERO Tutor (East End Secondary YES Prep students only) POSITION: East End Elementary AERO Tutor – (East End Secondary YES Prep students only) REPORTS TO: EE E AERO Lead Tutor POSITION TYPE: 10-month hourly, Part-time START DATE: August 2026 COMPENSATION: $12/hour (Grant-funded through 2027) At YES Prep, we work on a mission that impacts the life trajectory of students and their families. Responsibilities Tutor elementary students using the AERO Reading curriculum to address student needs in reading. Plan, deliver, and internalize AERO lessons during small-group tutoring sessions. Attend AERO training to increase expertise in the online platform. Assist students in connecting AERO reading skills to classroom instruction. Build meaningful relationships with elementary school students. Optional volunteering in AERO research activities to evaluate program effectiveness (participating in CLI Research study – including video fidelity checks and surveys). Must Have Qualifications Be a current YES Prep student. Be 16 years old or older. Provide documentation to show eligibility to work in the United States. Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology. On track to graduate. Meet AP credit requirements. Consistently on time to school. Maintain an attendance rate of 96% or higher. Comply with SAT preparation requirements. Complete tutor agreement and guardian acknowledgement form.
