Patient Registration Clerk - Patient Registration Join Taylor Regional Hospital and help us uphold our vision of being the preferred healthcare provider, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in our community. Location Emergency Department at Taylor Regional Hospital Schedule Part time. Saturdays (9:00am-6:00pm) and Every 4th Sunday (9:00am-6:00pm). Responsibilities Obtain and enter patient information into the computer system accurately. Request the appropriate identification cards (i.e., insurance cards) and paperwork required through the interview process. Obtain provider orders electronically or from the patient. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members. Follow HIPAA compliance. Ensure all patients have a diagnosis. Manage completion of consent forms for patient financial responsibility and consent of treatment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. No experience required. On the job training essential. Strong Communication Skills. Ability to remain calm. Maintain accurate and concise documentation. Ability to operate a computer for data entry.
