Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Cepheid (Danaher) supporting business leaders in Sunnyvale or Newark, California. Translates business strategy into people strategies, advises on talent management and organizational effectiveness, and leads change initiatives for assigned business segments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute people strategies aligned to business growth, productivity, and organizational priorities
- Act as trusted advisor to business leaders on talent management, organizational design, and leadership development
- Partner with leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational structure decisions
- Lead change initiatives including reorganizations, workforce transitions, and business transformations
- Collaborate with HR partners and shared services to ensure compliant and scalable execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years progressive HR experience including business partnering and organizational effectiveness
- Demonstrated expertise in HR business partnering, organizational effectiveness, and change leadership
- Experience designing and leading talent development, succession planning, and capability building initiatives
- Data fluency and proficiency with digital, analytics, or AI-enabled HR tools
- Continuous improvement mindset with familiarity of lean principles and structured problem-solving
- Ability to travel up to 20% to multiple California sites
Compensation: $160,000 - $195,000 base, plus bonus/incentive pay
