Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Parts Driver

Germain Kia is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Parts Driver to join our Parts Department team. This dual role is essential to ensuring the accurate flow of automotive parts in and out of the dealership, as well as their timely delivery to customers and local body shops. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, holds a clean driving record, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Shipping and Receiving

• Receive incoming parts shipments and verify accuracy against invoices and packing slips
• Inspect shipments for damages and report discrepancies promptly
• Accurately stock parts in designated warehouse locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for delivery or shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist parts advisors and technicians in locating and distributing parts
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) as needed
• Keep accurate records using inventory management systems

Job Description: Parts Driver

• The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up parts, equipment and other dealership necessities.
• The Parts Driver is also responsible for maintaining a detailed delivery log and reconciling invoices to ensure that ordered parts were correctly pulled for delivery to the customer.
• Coordinate pickup and deliveries with the Parts Manager and other department staff members.
• Forward all invoices, shipping documents and payments to the appropriate parties after deliveries are completed.
• Assist with processing parts inventory.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and cleaning of delivery vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred (automotive experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
• Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check, drug test and motor vehicle report is required.
