Key Responsibilities of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Utilize the nursing process for patient care, maintaining accurate patient records
• Document assessments including physical, psychological, and social dimensions
• Summarize assessment data and initiate care plans
• Demonstrate proficiency as a charge nurse and in Nursing Informatics
• Act as a resource for patient care and staff orientation
• Participate in staff meetings and mandatory programs
• Identify and monitor quality aspects of care
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality protocols
• Engage in professional development and committee participation

Requirements of the RN - Oncology - Travel

• Outpatient experience required
• Travel experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Successful passage of Pharmacology exam
• Expertise in oncology patient education and counseling
