Bartenders prepare and serve beverages efficiently and accurately while engaging guests with a friendly, positive attitude. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key Responsibilities:Greet guests promptly and create a welcoming bar experiencePrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar areaVerify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service lawsAccurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain a personal bankCount back change correctly to guestsCommunicate drink orders clearly with team members and managementRestock bar supplies and complete side work as assignedMaintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all timesQualifications:Strong sense of guest service and urgencyExcellent communication and multitasking skillsBasic math and cash-handling skillsAbility to stay focused and organized in a high-volume environmentAbility to work collaboratively with a teamMust be able to stand for extended periods of timePrior bartending experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcoholAbout Us: At Purple Cow, we treat all team members fairly and foster a learning-oriented, team-based culture where everyone's voice is valued. We serve ice cream from Arkansas' own Yarnell's Premium Ice Cream. Quality is key to us. All of our soups and sauces, most of our dressings and our award-winning cheese dip and chili are homemade. We pride ourselves in consistently serving food of the highest quality. We are famous for our hamburgers and milkshakes, but offer much more, such as, specialty salads, grilled sandwiches, homemade soup, chili, and cheese dip, just to name a few. All of our guests receive Outrageous Service, meaning we go above and beyond to meet all of their needs. We provide all of this in a clean, organized, and FUN environment.
