About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, analysis, and core accounting functions. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting audits, and contributing to business insights that drive decision-making. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Support month-end and year-end close processes Assist with audit preparation and documentation Perform account reconciliations including bank and balance sheet accounts Analyze budget vs. actual performance and provide variance explanations Manage Accounts Payable processes and related reporting Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial operations Maintain and prepare weekly cash flow reports Maintain organized AP documentation, support records, and accurate processing of 1099s annually Prepare and schedule payments via check, ACH, credit card, or wire transfer Manage AP approval workflows Execute the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments Liaise for Billing specialists' team on contracts termination and activation Insurance COI Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred 25 years of accounting experience Experience with financial statements and month-end close Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS) Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why Join OpenTech?
