Job Title: Non-Medical Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Non-Medical Caregiver to provide in-home support to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. This role focuses on companionship, personal care, and light housekeeping to help clients maintain comfort, safety, and independence in their home environment. No medical procedures are required.

Responsibilities

Personal Care Assistance

• Assist clients with grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene.

• Support safe mobility, including transfers, walking assistance, and the use of mobility aids.

• Provide reminders for medications (no administration of medications unless allowed by local regulations) .

• Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if needed.

• Encourage and support healthy routines and daily activities.

Housekeeping & Home Support

• Perform light housekeeping such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and laundry.

• Maintain clean and organized living areas, including kitchen and bathroom tidying.

• Change bed linens and assist with general household organization.

• Run errands such as grocery shopping or picking up household items (if permitted).

• Prepare simple meals and snacks.

Companionship

• Engage clients in conversation, activities, and hobbies.

• Provide emotional support and help reduce loneliness.

• Accompany clients on walks, appointments, or social outings (if approved).

Safety & Reporting

• Observe and report any changes in the client’s physical, mental, or emotional condition.

• Follow all safety protocols and infection-control procedures.

• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• Respect client privacy and uphold confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and respectful care.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, or supporting client mobility.

• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

• Background check may be required.

Work Environment

Care is provided in clients’ private homes. Caregivers must be comfortable working independently, adapting to different households, and providing warm, respectful support to individuals of varying needs.
