Salary: $97,000 - 137,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• We need 7+ years of hands-on Windows systems administration experience in enterprise settings.
• We expect advanced experience with Azure Virtual Desktop deployment, administration, and performance tuning.
• We look for strong proficiency in creating, managing, and troubleshooting Group Policy across complex Active Directory environments.
• We require solid experience with security and vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7, along with remediation processes.
• We need proven experience with WSUS or comparable patch management solutions.
• We value experience administering Linux virtual machines such as RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu in enterprise or cloud environments.
• We expect strong knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• We require a solid understanding of Azure cloud services, Azure networking, and infrastructure administration.
• We need practical experience implementing and validating STIG compliance across Windows and Linux systems.
• We prefer active security clearance, including Secret or Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• We value Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• We prefer experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• We value familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, PowerShell scripting, monitoring tools, identity and access management solutions, disaster recovery planning, and DoD or federal IT environments.

• We design, deploy, and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including host pools, session hosts, and user profiles.
• We administer and improve Group Policy Objects to enforce security controls, user settings, and system configurations.
• We perform security and vulnerability assessments, then remediate issues in line with compliance requirements.
• We manage Windows update strategies, including WSUS administration, patch validation, and enterprise rollout planning.
• We oversee Linux virtual machine environments within a hybrid infrastructure and ensure effective Windows integration.
• We design and troubleshoot networking setups such as VPNs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancers across on-premises and Azure environments.
• We architect and maintain Azure infrastructure components, including virtual networks, storage accounts, resource groups, and identity services.
• We lead STIG compliance efforts by applying and verifying security baselines on Windows and Linux systems.
• We mentor junior system administrators and help define best practices and standard operating procedures.
• We partner with DevSecOps teams to integrate infrastructure-as-code and automation into provisioning and configuration workflows.
